Parts of this historic scenic railway still operate today. Deborah Bodin Cohen is the associate rabbi and director of lifelong education at Temple Emanuel in Cherry Hill, NJ. She was ordained at the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion. Rabbi Cohen is also the author of The Seventh Day and Papa Jethro, both published by Kar-Ben. She lives in Cherry Hill with her husband and young daughter.
He patted the train’s boiler again and said, “I need to turn you around so we can steam back to Jaffa.
